It's no doubt that the winter season is hard. Just as it's hard on you, it's also hard on your vehicle. Plugging in your block heater will help protect your vehicle, reduce stress on the battery and make it easier for the engine to turn over.
Toyota currently has TWO styles of block heaters. The "dangle" style which most of us are familiar with and the Toyota Premium block heater socket. The "dangle" style is typically hanging outside the front hood or tucked behind the grille. The Toyota Premium block heater socket is discretely located on the lower front bumper either on the left or right side depending on the vehicle. The Toyota Premium block heater socket comes with a special cord that you can find inside the glovebox or in the trunk under the cargo area where the spare tire is located.
