Permanent, Full-Time $17.75 - $20.00/hour Mon - Fri 7:45am - 5:00pm

Full Job Description

The Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining a professional, organized, and welcoming appearance throughout the dealership property. This includes ensuring that all vehicles displayed in the showroom and on the lot are clean, properly positioned, and presented to the highest standard, while keeping exterior grounds neat and well-maintained at all times.

In addition, the Lot Attendant provides support to the service department as needed, assisting with vehicle detailing, shop cleanliness, and various tasks that help technicians and service staff maintain an efficient and safe work environment.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Maintain an appropriate mix and quantity of vehicles in the showroom, ensuring displays are fully stocked and presented according to dealership standards at all times.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the exterior dealership property and address any cleanliness or maintenance concerns. This includes, but is not limited to, cleaning vehicle inventory, removing garbage, and monitoring grass, weeds, and general lot appearance.
  • Perform daily walkthroughs of the showroom, drive-through area, and service shop to identify and address any cleaning, organization, or presentation issues.
  • Ensure all vehicles on the lot are positioned according to the established lot planogram, including designated areas along the south fence for sold vehicles, pre-delivery inspections (PDI), and additional inventory. Report any concerns or discrepancies to management.
  • Assist the service department as required, including vehicle detailing, cleaning duties, and providing general support to technicians and shop staff.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.


Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physically able to perform manual labour indoor and outdoor (standing, lifting, pushing, pulling).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Class G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
  • Satisfactory driver's abstract with no major convictions.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

Full Job Description

The Customer Care Specialist (CES) serves as a key customer-facing role within the dealership and is often the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and callers. This position is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by greeting customers, supporting service reception operations, and providing administrative assistance across multiple departments.

The main responsibilities include:

CUSTOMER SERVICE & GUEST EXPERIENCE

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and callers, creating a welcoming and professional experience.
  • Assist customers by identifying their needs and connecting them with the appropriate department or team member.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous, timely, and professional manner.
  • Maintain a positive customer experience throughout all interactions.


SERVICE RECEPTION

  • Support the service check-in process, including gathering customer and vehicle information.
  • Complete vehicle walkarounds and inspections in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Whenever possible, perform the vehicle walkaround with the customer present, documenting and verbally identifying any existing damage or concerns during the video inspection.
  • Communicate all findings, customer concerns, and potential repair opportunities to the Service Advisor.
  • Accurately document customer concerns, requested services, and appointment details.


ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

  • Maintain accurate customer records and dealership documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to Service, Sales, Parts, Financial Services, and Accounting departments as required.
  • Assist with customer communication, dealership programs, and other operational initiatives.
  • Communicate all findings, customer concerns, and potential repair opportunities to the Service Advisor.
  • Contribute to the organization and upkeep of customer-facing areas and dealership systems.


PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & TEAM SUPPORT

  • Participate in required training and ongoing professional development.
  • Follow dealership policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support dealership goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and office software.
  • Experience with Google Workspace is considered an asset.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Class G Driver’s Licence.
  • Satisfactory driver’s abstract with no major convictions.
  • Clear criminal background check.
